Maya Revival Architecture

Dr. Jesse Lerner will talk about how works by the likes of Frank Lloyd Wright, Robert Stacy-Judd and Manuel Amábilis connect art deco with the ancient Maya. Dr. Lerner is a professor and wrote the book, Maya of Modernism.

Museum of Latin American Art Visit

One Story One Bag

Road to Xibalba: A Gods of Jade and Shadow Scavenger Hunt

Join the Santa Clarita Library as we race to help the God of Xibalba, Hun-Kame, find his missing limbs to restore his magic and defeat his evil twin brother, Vucub-Kame. Form teams, get set, and you’re off on a scavenger hunt to help both Casiopea Tun and Hun-Kame in their quest.

Note: We will be using the app GooseChase for the scavenger hunt. Please ensure at least one member on your team has a smart phone to access the app and participate in the game.
